Jesus
Christ is the head of our church and our church constitution is the
Holy Bible. Our membership is made of servants of many ages
and different walks of life. We are a group of imperfect
people serving a perfect Lord and Savior. Our goal is to build
up the body of believers through worship, discipleship, acts of
compassion and evangelism.
A ny
one truly seeking to follow Jesus Christ is welcome at First Baptist
Church of Thomaston.

The
three Sunday worship services meet at 8:30 am, 10:55 am and 6:00 pm.
Sunday School begins at 9:40 am on Sunday mornings.
Wednesday Fellowship supper begins at 5:30 pm with prayer meeting
following at 6:30 pm.
The Sunday worship service can be seen live each week at 11:00 on
local channel 10. Also during the 10:55 Sunday worship service
you are invited to call 706-647-7889 and a member of the FBC prayer
ministry will be happy to pray with you or relay your prayer request
to any member of the staff or the FBC email prayer ministry.
