Welcome Sunday School Class at FBC

YOU ARE INVITED TO THE WELCOME CLASS

The Welcome Class is made up of a diverse group of both married and single men and women. People of any age are welcome. We meet every Sunday morning for coffee, fellowship and Bible study. We use team teachers, all of whom are members of our class:
On the first Sundays, Ann Carol Daniel, a practicing, licensed marriage and family therapist and pastoral counselor, who enjoys three grand children, is our teacher.
Second Sundays find Don or Sylvia Fehr doing the teaching. Don is a retired Presbyterian minister from Jekyll Island. Sylvia, when asked how she feels, always responds, “Better than I deserve,” is a former youth teacher.
When third Sundays arrive, Don and Ann Page teach. Don, a retired attorney, received teacher training at Atlanta’s First Baptist Church. Ann, who retired from a banking career in Barnesville has taught at both Yatesville Methodist and Pineview Baptist churches.
Most months finish with a fourth Sunday lesson taught by Faye and Dick Bridges. They formerly taught in the Youth Department. Faye is a former librarian and teacher. Dick is a practicing attorney.
In months that have a fifth Sunday, our teacher is Dr. Sam Brewton, a retired physician and mayor of Thomaston. He and his wife Martha have four grandchildren.
You can find our classroom by entering Building B. on South Green Street. Go down the hallway to the right which leads directly into our class.
