Gace Sunday School Class at FBC

YOU ARE INVITED TO THE GRACE CLASS

The Grace Sunday School Class is comprised of ladies ranging in age from 80 to 95. Formerly known as the Euzelian Class, it was renamed 2 years ago as the Grace Class.
Edna Ruth Mitchell, a member of the class, taught the Euzelian Class for 49 years. Other members, Antoinette Hardage Greene and Aline Baron Nicholson have the privilege of having been members of our church longer than anyone else.
All of the ladies have served the Lord faithfully in our church in some capacity since they accepted Christ as their Savior.
While the ladies are not as active today as in past years, they seek to support the church in every way and hope that they can be mentors or models to our younger women.
The class is taught by Dr. Bill Gardner, a dentist. Bill is 48 years old. He has been married to his wife, Lori for 20 years and they have two children: Sarah, 18, and Seth, 14. They have lived in Thomaston for 13 years and have been members of First Baptist for 12 years. A man with many gifts, Bill has taught 4 and 5 year olds, high school youth, and young adults. Now, he delights in imparting God’s truth to older ladies.
You can find our class by coming into Building A (the main educational building) through the Lee Street entrance. Our room is located near the far end of the main hall on the first floor, on the left, just past the library. We have a sign by the door.
