Fidelis Sunday School Class at FBC

YOU ARE INVITED TO THE FIDELIS CLASS

The Fidelis Class is aptly named. The members are indeed faithful in attendance and in caring for each other at all times. This is a class of friendly active women who range in age from 75 to 80 something; there is no age—or weight—limit. Some are wives, many are widows; most are grandmothers; and several are volunteers in community causes. Our offerings go to church and community causes.
Our teacher is Evelyn Mitchell. She grew up in Upson County. She is a retired high school and college English teacher. After retiring she served as a mission volunteer for two years in a Baptist girl’s school in Japan. This experience enriched her life and teaching.
We all rejoice when new members join our class. Since we are not large in numbers, everyone soon knows everyone else and we enjoy a rich fellowship.
You can find our classroom, recently renovated, by coming into Building A (the main educational building) through the Lee Street entrance. Our room is located at the far end of the main hall on the first floor.
