Bonoth Sunday School Class at FBC

YOU ARE INVITED TO THE BONOTH CLASS
The Bonoth Class is made up of women ages 50’s to late 60’s and consists of marrieds, singles, singles again, active workers, recent retirees, semi-retirees, and grandmothers.
We study the scriptures; pray for our members, friends and families; participate in class discussions; and strive to apply learned Biblical truths to our lives. We reach out to class members and their families when special needs arise, prepare and provide meals when needed. We show love and concern to a family at Christmas by participating in the Empty Stocking program. Our class has prayer-walked at the local schools. Financial donations we have made include gifts to a retired missionary couple facing large medical expenses, special mission offerings, gifts to church members facing hardships, youth mission projects, and the annual medical mission trip to Zambia.
Bobbie Johnston is our teacher. She has been a member of First Baptist Church since she was 12 years of age. She is married to Billy, has two sons and two grandchildren. Bobbie is a retired 6th grade teacher with the local school system and presently works with the Lamar County Board of Education. Bobbie is always well prepared to teach our class, studies background information to our lessons, and helps us to better understand God’s word.
You can find our class by coming into the Green Street entrance of Building C, our new multi-purpose building. After you come through the lobby, we are the fourth classroom on the right on the main floor.
